Frequently asked questions

For buyers

How do I place a bid?
Create a free account, add your card on file, then browse active auctions. Enter your maximum bid and our proxy system bids incrementally on your behalf.
What's the buyer's premium?
A 10% buyer's premium is added to the winning bid. This is clearly shown before you bid, along with the total cost.
What is soft close?
A bid in the final 60 seconds extends the lot by 30 seconds. This prevents last-second sniping and gives every bidder a fair chance.
What if my item isn't as described?
File a dispute within 7 days of delivery. We review claims within 5 business days and issue refunds for items that are materially different from the listing.
How does payment work?
You'll receive two charges: (1) when the auction closes, your card is charged for the item price plus 10% buyer premium and any applicable tax; (2) after we pack your item, you'll receive a shipping invoice for shipping and insurance costs. Store purchases work the same way.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within the continental United States only (48 contiguous states). Items over $500 ship with insurance and signature confirmation.
What's the difference between auctions and the store?
Auctions run weekly with competitive bidding. The store offers select items at fixed prices you can purchase immediately, no waiting for an auction to close.

For consignors

What's your commission rate?
20% standard on the gross sale price. You receive 80%. Lifetime loyalty tiers reduce this to 18% at $25K and 15% at $50K in cumulative sales. Tiers do not reset.
How do I get paid?
Payouts every Friday via Stripe Connect. Requirements: items shipped, payment cleared, no open disputes.
What if my item doesn't sell?
We return it at no charge. No fees for unsold items.
Do you accept graded items?
Yes. PCGS, NGC, PSA, and BGS certified items are verified and featured prominently. We also accept ungraded items with in-house condition assessment.
Can I track my items?
Every consignor gets a personal portal showing live status from intake through listing to settlement, plus downloadable PDF statements.
